what is cosmelan®?

cosmelan®, is the world's leading professional depigmentation method for treating the most severe and stubborn skin spots.  Excellent results in the short and long term thanks to its unique dual action mechanism: corrective and regulatory. How does Cosmelan work?

The Cosmelan depigmentation treatment is executed in 2 phases: the first phase consists of the application of Cosmelan I, a mask which you wear home and keep on from 8 to 12 hours, depending on your skin type as determined by the aesthetician. At the indicated time, the mask is washed off with water. The second treatment phase consists of daily application of a maintenance cream called Cosmelan 2, containing botanical acids that support the depigmentation achieved. Initially after the procedure, you may experience different sensations, varying from warm flushing and inflammation to slight itching and tightness of the skin. To maintain satisfactory results a strict home care guideline of products must be followed at all times!

What conditions does Cosmelan treat?

Cosmelan can be used on the face and body.

  • Pigmentation

  • Melasma

  • Sun spots

  • Post-acne marks

How many treatments will I need?

Most clients experience a dramatic reduction in the appearance of unwanted pigmentation following just one session of Cosmelan. To ensure long-lasting results, it is recommended to use a recommended regime of specific home care products.
